First conservative, then surgical

Joint pain, e.g. knee or hip pain, is often the trigger for a thorough assessment. It is often the result of accidents or illnesses as well as wear and tear that worsens over the years. At an advanced age, osteoarthritis of the knee or hip joint is usually suspected.

We also specialise in the treatment of sports accidents, sports injuries and injuries in general. Particularly if ligaments such as cruciate ligaments or menisci are affected, we recommend immediate clarification.

We get to the bottom of the matter and, wherever possible, treat you conservatively first and only suggest an operation when the previous options have been exhausted and your quality of life is severely restricted.

Gentle surgical techniques

Surgical procedures mainly include knee surgery, hip surgery, foot surgery, endoprosthetics(knee prosthesis / hip prosthesis) and the surgical treatment of painful artificial knee joints, also known as revision of knee and hip prostheses.
