For patients living outside Switzerland, we also offer consultations via video conference in addition to the consultation hours at our specialist centre in Zurich.
How to book a video consultation?
Simply book your online consultation with Dr Andreas L. Oberholzer to receive competent and individual advice on your problem and your questions.
Our video consultation takes place in a simple, four-step process:
1. Enquiry by e-mail
Please send us an e-mail to contact@orthoamsee.ch. Your e-mail should include the following:
- Description of your complaints
- Information on the course of treatment to date
- Please attach any medical documents (medical / diagnosis / treatment reports, x-rays, etc.) to your e-mail.
Please note that all our employees are bound by the same confidentiality rules that apply to consultation hours in Zurich.
Important Notice Regarding Patient Data Sent via Email
By sending your medical or health-related data to the Ortho am See specialist centre by e-mail, you confirm that this transmission is voluntary and at your own risk. E-mails are generally not secure against access by third parties. The encryption methods used by e-mail providers vary. We accept no liability for the confidentiality or integrity of data transmitted via this method of communication.
By sending your data to us in this way, you expressly consent to the transmission and processing of your data by Ortho am See and confirm that you are aware of the potential risks.
2. Cost estimate
After receiving your enquiry, we will estimate the work involved and the costs and send you an offer including our bank and payment information.
3. Appointment scheduling
As soon as you have accepted the offer and we have received your payment, we will contact you to arrange your appointment with PD Dr Andreas L. Oberholzer.
The minimum duration for a remote consultation is 30 minutes. As we can prepare ourselves on the basis of the documents you provide, video conferences are generally very efficient.
4. Video consultation
When you confirm your appointment, you will receive a meeting link for Zoom(please download beforehand). Click on the link to start your consultation for the confirmed appointment.
Invoicing
The remote counselling service is subject to a fee and is payable prior to the consultation appointment.
- Online consultation of 30 minutes: CHF 300 (minimum duration: 30 minutes)
- Preparation (review of your documents): CHF 150 per 15 minutes
Provisions for cancellations at short notice
We kindly ask for your understanding that cancellations made less than 48 hours before the scheduled appointment cannot be refunded. In the event of important reasons, however, we are happy to offer the option of rescheduling your appointment.
