What medical insurance cover is required?
- General Swiss insurance is required for a consultation at our specialist centre.
- If conservative treatments are carried out that are not covered by general insurance, the services provided will be paid for by the patient. These treatments must be paid for in cash or by card immediately after they have been carried out.
- In the event of an operation, outpatient operations (return home on the same day) are carried out at our location in Haus zur Pyramide. In this case, general Swiss insurance is currently sufficient.
- If inpatient treatment (at least one night in hospital) is required, this will take place at the Privatklinik Bethanien. In this case, private or semi-private inpatient insurance cover is required. If this is not available, a cost estimate for self-financing can be provided.
